Duncan Engineering is India's pioneer in the field of Industrial Pneumatics and Off-Highway Tyer Valves (OTR) valves and accessories. We are a part of the AG Ventures group of companies. catering to the Indian industry for over four decades, we are ISO 9001 and listed on BSE.

We have a strong presence in the Indian OEM and Aftermarket segments across all regions through a penetrating network of sales offices and channel partners/distributors.

Fluid Power & Automation (FPA) portfolio includes Pneumatics, Hydraulics and Valve Automation Systems (standard catalogue, bespoke products and customized solutions) for diverse applications in segments like Metals, Energy & Environment, Cement, Printing & Packaging, Pharma, Machine Tools, Material Handling, Process, Construction Machinery and other general engineering industries.

Duncan Engineering over the years

1844 - 1896

  • Schrader found by German pioneer August Schrader, inventor of the now famous & patented Schrader pneumatic tire valve
  • Schrader produces the first tire valve for bicycles
  • Schrader supplies fittings and valves for rubber products
  • Schrader patents the tire valve cap

1904 - 1979

  • Schrader introduces gauges to measure tire pressure with accuracy
  • Schrader opens plant in Pontarlier France to support European Market
  • Schrader Scovill Duncan Ltd, incorporates in India as a Joint Venture with indian partner
  • Schrader opens plant in Monroe, NC for tubeless tire valves

1982 - 1994

  • Schrader start offering pneumatic systems
  • Electronic tire gauges on a global basis
  • Schrader continue swith development of TPMS for vehicles
  • Scrader Scovill Duncan Ltd in India renamed as Schrader Duncan Ltd
  • Schrader establishes plant Northern Ireland for the continuing development of pressure measurments technologies

2000 - 2008

  • Schrader gets ISO 9001 Quality Menagment Systems certificate for pneumatics
  • ISO series cylinders, Kg series cylinder & high-flow series valve started
  • Stainless Steel Valves added
  • Schrader develops Positioner-cylinders
  • Schrader establishes new world class plant in India at Ranjangaon, Pune

2010 - 2017

  • Majority stake acquired by J P Goenka group
  • Schrader gets TS 16949 Certification for Automotive
  • Pneumatics Business unit renamed as Fluid Power & Automation Business unit to reflect the enhanced product portfolio
  • "Maxflow" range of products introduced by Fluid Power & Automation Limited renamed as Duncan Engineering

2022 - 2023

Received SIL/ Atex / CE/ OHSAS Certification.
